No Carbs Before Marbs...

HELLO!!

So it's been a long time, I know. But as you can imagine/or know, that the past few weeks at university have been very stressful with deadlines and presentations.
So I finished uni almost three weeks ago now… and it feels great. Even had all my marks back and I've done really well this semester… although at the time of hand-ins I just assumed I'd done bad. Have faith! That's what I need to have in myself.

Apart from that, I have been working out rather a lot. In approximately 28 days I'm jetting of to Marbella! I have never been before, but, from what I've seen and heard it's a great place to go. I'm heading out there with, I think, 16 other people from work (Tup Tup Palace) for a 4 day weekend. We've joined up with CandyPants the events company and are ready for some serious partying!

A lot of the girls that I work with are keen fitness freaks… and alas, we started a girls Marbella bootcamp group to get us into shape before we head out there. Aurora Athletics is the company that is  assisting our boot camps. We've done two sessions so far (Every monday), it's been great fun… and a little bit of a strain on the old muscles. Especially yesterdays session where we ended an hour work out with 15 minute pyramid sprints. Baring in mind I haven't done them since I was in the Hockey team at school, so lets say nearly four years ago. It definitely cleared the lungs!

Week 1

Week 2
I'm now following a diet plan that was made for my flat mate by her personal trainer at Aurora Athletics. And I'm actually quite enjoying it. It involves a lot of meat and rather a lot of Greek 0% yoghurt. I've started taking protein too. I'll have a shake after a workout and then a scoop of whey in 250grams of yoghurt before bed. So twice a day. If I don't work out I'm still have a shake too. This is the first time using protein… and it's taken me about 3 weeks to get used to it. I've now had the Chocolate and Coconut flavour… which, if you don't like coconut like myself, was a struggle. And I've just had my Summer Fruits flavour delivered today. It's actually quite nice.

Okay, so I know I'm slim already… but toned is so much more attractive than being skinny. And that's my goal. I don't want to loose any weight what so ever, I just want to add muscle and be toned. I'm slowly getting there. I think more motivation comes from the bikinis I have ordered from Victoria Secrets… You look at the models wearing them and think, if I work hard enough I'll look like that in them… well, that's what I like to think! Ha. Anyway, these are the bikinis/monokinis I have got/ordered.

Like, I need to squat 200 times a day for this bikini bottom!

So, I ordered so many because I just love them! But just in case I need to change mid day… haha! I'm yet to receive the monokini and the orange and pink set, but they should be here any day now.

Aching rather a lot today from bootcamp last night. So I've done a small workout at home with the Get Results with Lucy online programme (worth a look at if you would rather work out at home! I noticed a difference after a week of following the plans when I was at home in the Easter Break.). Not sure it was a good idea as I'm aching even more so now! Oh well! Pain is gain so they say!

Bare+Jaded A/W 2014 LookBook Shoot

So I have been lucky enough to be the photographers assistant to the Bare+Jaded '14 Lookbook.
This took place at Location 18 which is in Shoreditch. It was an absolutely beautiful studio, with great lighting from the huge windows and the large domed window in the ceiling too.

Location 18, Shoreditch, London
This was a shot I took myself of the side of the room. Love the neutral colours and then the pop of yellow.

This is me! The hair stylist wanted a photo on this chair and then insisted I had one too!

We started shooting at around 9:30 and didn't leave till 7ish. The day was really long but so worth while. Some of the shot were amazing! It was great fun to be the assistant to Cameron Smith.

Here is the team for the day!

Loved working in this location and with this team. Very worth the experience!

Get set… GO!

So we all have that time over Christmas and New Years where all we do is eat and drink. But not its officially over and most students are back at University, it is time to get back into those gym kits and hit the gym hard!

I am quite a regular user of the gym when I am at uni. I think it helps I live in a flat with 5 other girls who are also fairly good at wanting to go to the gym too.
I have just ordered new Nikes (it is sad how excited I am to open them up at Uni!) I have also just bought some more running bottoms from Forever 21.

I often watch videos on Youtube for new fitness routine ideas as quite often I do fall into the same exercises each day, and it does get boring.

For the past year though I have followed these two girls:

Absolutely love everything they put up. They are really helpful with trying to eat clean too. With loads of tips and hints on how to get the best "booty" and flat abs as well as scheduling your daily workout routine. They are really worth having a look at.

Steve Madden Heels… Want them? Come get them!

So I'm trying to sell these LUSH shoes… and you are probably thinking… why?! Well I ordered them in a size 7 (Eur 40) - even though I'm a 6 because I could get enough of them! My friend tried them on in New York and I knew I had to get them… after she decided not to, the order was sent! However, they didn't have a size 6 hence why I ordered the 7… but.. I now have the size 6's and so these beauts are up for sale!!

Just look at how nice they are! (Ignore my feet, I can't stand my feet!) Absolute winners these. I did pay a lot for them, over £100, so you really are getting a bargain!

Here is the link below if you would like these gorgeous heels!

Tup Tup's Christmas Party!

Whilst I live up in Newcastle during term time I work at the Night club Tup Tup (the best club in Newcastle… not biased or anything!) I have worked there for nearly a year now.

Recently, we had our Christmas staff party. Where all bar men/women and bouncers are invited too. We went to the restaurant Babucho's down near the quay for a champagne cocktail reception, then a three course meal. After we had a DJ and the place was all ours. At 2am we went across to Tup and had the whole top floor, and all the drinks possible. Everything was paid for! It was such a good night spent with friends and staff! It's safe to say there were some sore heads the next morning… well later that day. We didn't get home till 5am!

I wore my flat mates Velvet Burgundy dress from Misguided, KG studded black heels, and my 21st Tiffany Mother Of Pearl Necklace, and two Links London Bracelets. I styled my hair with rollers (normal velcro rollers), sat with them in for about 4 hours mind! The tan I am using is "WhiteToBrown" tan which, I will swear by.

I'm Back!

Okay… so it's been a long semester at Uni. I haven't stopped, I was either working in the Club or working on Uni work, or at Uni! Very tedious! But hopefully it is all worth it!

This semester has been so good! I've felt like I have achieved a lot from my uni modules, and had some great times out with my friends (even if it wasn't very often, it made it better!)

I've loved one module in particular this semester and that was Editorial Journalism. However, not so much the journalism side, but the photography side of it. We have had to design our own magazine… This is my magazine that was shown in a presentation in our last seminar. However, there are some tweaking to do before it is sent to the printers: http://issuu.com/abbyfield/docs/midniighttnoir

Here are a few photos that I took myself (they are all copyrighted…), even if they aren't in my magazine I still love them!

The magazine we did had to eventually all be on Identity. So I focused mine on the angle of how you see yourself and how other perceive you.

I am just organising now to have my magazine printed and binded!

So long...

My gosh I haven't blogged in ages!
University has been beyond crazy… I will have to fill you all in, but for now it's back to writing my Audience and Branding essay which is due Wednesday… it is actually killing me, and my poor MacBook, I don't think it has been turned off for two weeks!

Keep tuned for some updates… I am sorry!
